I created my business Chelsea’s Slimes in 2016, selling slimes on ETSY and pop-up shops with the main goal to raise money for my charity Operation Smile and Mercy Ships. I wanted to help people of all ages relieve stress, anxiety and feel calmer. Slime is something that can be used just for fun, and it can help many people in their everyday lives.
What I enjoy most about being an entrepreneur is giving back. You can always grow your business through advertising, marketing plans and substantial products that appeal to the public, but all of this means nothing if your heart and purpose for your business is not coming from the right place. The purpose of my business is to bring light to others in their own lives through creating something that I also enjoy!
What inspired me to create my own community organization, Chelsea’s Compassions, and advocate for many charities and nonprofit organizations is the idea of spreading God’s love and compassion to everyone. God had done so much for me that I can help others through the talents and platforms he has given me.
I am passionate about pursuing my talents in the entertainment industry through acting, singing, songwriting, modeling, and dancing. It’s very important to give back because we aren’t alone on this earth. Everyone created has a purpose and helping each other promotes kindness and fosters a better future for the world. From a young age I’ve always been passionate about helping others along the way, with humility and respect, and now I’m able to continue that passion by sharing my story.
I have supported and advocated for numerous establishments such as Charlie Rocket’s The Dream Factory LA and Once Upon A Coconut, Katie’s Collective 4x Cancer Fighter: Childhood Cancer Awareness, Grayson Robert’s Lemonade Business, Carrigan Nelson’s 5th Fight Against Cancer, City Hope Cancer & Research Hospital, City Heart Medical, AAPI at Geneva Presbyterian Church, The Jewish Home For The Aging, Operation Christmas Child, H.O.B.Y (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Program), Sketchers Pier 2 Pier Friendship Walk, Teen Vibes Magazine Halloween Hotness raising money for St. Jude’s at Madame Tussaud’s, Babes In Toyland Toy Charity Drive and many student council endeavors.
The message I have for my fans is to keep going, keep pursing your passions, keep doing what you love. Don’t let anything make you feel discouraged, but always do your best, think positive and remember to be humble and selfless by giving back to those in need — and you will succeed in all that you do!
