Alex Lizzul is Hollywood’s latest pre-teen to hit the big screen. Born in Boston, Alex moved to Los Angeles when he was a baby, and since then has found his love of acting. He attends the Will Wallace Acting Company where he hones his artistic craft and has made his acting debut in the film ‘Who’s Watching Who?’ – a comedy film that just won ‘Best Short Film’ at The Percy Awards presented by The Academy of Independent Motion Pictures in Austin, Texas. When not working, Alex enjoys to travel, playing baseball and soccer, fishing and eating pasta with Bolognese sauce!

Hello Alex, great to e-meet you! For those unfamiliar with you, tell us a little about yourself outside of showbiz.
Hi! I am Alex. I am 11 and going into 6th grade this year. I was born in Boston, MA but now live in LA. I have always had a passion and love of travel and seeing new places and exploring new things. I have spent a lot of time in Florida, NJ, and NY because my parents are from the East Coast. One of my favorite trips was to Italy exploring the beautiful art and history and enjoying the incredible food. When I am not acting, I am going to school and playing on a travel baseball team. I love to pitch when playing baseball. I do also have a passion for flying and learning about airplanes. When I have down time, I enjoy spending time with my parents and my older brother.
Tell us about the movie and your role in ‘Who’s Watching Who?’?
In the movie ‘Who’s Watching Who?’ I play the co-lead, Trevor alongside Chris Levine. Trevor is funny but also has a serious side. He realizes early on that his Uncle Nick is really going through a rough time and is “broken hearted” and Trevor takes on the role of being Uncle Nicks ten-year-old therapist.
The film is the story of a single mother who has a planned business trip but is put in an impossible situation when the father is unable to pick up their 10-year-old son, Trevor. With such short notice she is forced to turn to the last person she would ever want to take care of Trevor, her down and out brother Nick. Nick will be put to the test to see if he can handle the responsibilities of taking care of Trevor while, quite possibly, having the best weekend of their lives.
What did you think when you read the script?
I thought it was really clever, funny, and well written. Also, the film touched upon real topics of someone struggling when they go through a break up and that sometimes the person you least expect to give you any advice ends up giving you the best advice. I think “Who’s Watching Who’ could potentially be turned into a TV series. You are left wanting to know more about Uncle Nick and Trevor’s story.

Always… I do love potato chips.
Any bloopers to share?
Sometimes we would laugh so hard on set. There was a scene where I was drinking coca cola and laughing, and I got some soda all over me.
If you could have one superpower in real life, what would it be and why?
I think it would be really cool to be able to have the superpower of teleportation because I could go anywhere and see anything whenever I want.
If we asked your friends what your best quality is, what would they say?
I am funny and have a great sense of humor.
Favorite summer holiday (and why)?
My favorite summer holiday is Memorial Day Weekend because it is my birthday weekend and also because we are celebrating our veterans and my grandpa was an officer in the Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.
I love watching plane spotting videos and any videos about airplanes and travel.
Tell me ONE food you REFUSE to eat and why?
Anchovies. In my opinion I just do not like the fishy taste of anchovies.
