Hello Lexy, hope you are doing well! How are you spending your days during the quarantine?

Hey! I am spending it happy! I actually love this new “hide from the world” thing.

What’s the one thing you would say has helped you cope the most through these recent coronavirus times?

Learning how to cook! Everyone’s learning new skills, including me! It’s a unique opportunity to try things you’ve never done.

Tell us a little about your background and where you were raised?

I was born up north and raised in Sacramento and Los Angeles. A little bit of both!

How did you get started in show biz?

My dad has always acted and he did stunt work in movies, and my uncle did as well! My grandmother, who passed, was a singer. I think I got it from her. I just always had a desire to sing, so I moved to Los Angeles with my dad when I thought I was really ready to pursue it. My first try at really singing was when I “got discovered” at the famous Millennium Dance Studio for a girl group!

You are probably best known for twerking, but what else would you like to be known for?

Singing, and my voice! That’s my passion. I think if people listened, they would really get into it. My lyrics are super relatable, about relationships, and help connect my fans together by helping them realize that everyone has been through the same thing, and we’re all here to support each other.

What do you say to critics who say that it is vulgar or inappropriate?

Those who say that have never tried it, so I have nothing to say to the non-believers, unless they have experienced it themselves.

What has been the best or most rewarding experience as an artist so far?

Finding out that I’m not the only one going through the things I go through. Connecting with others through music is truly a gift.

And the toughest challenge?

Crossing over from the dance world, and finding ways for my fanbase from that to be excited about my singing too. I want to bring the two worlds together.

If you weren’t a performer, what other type of career would you be interested in pursuing?

Probably being involved in a charity or a non-profit organization full time. I’m really passionate about giving back.

Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you?

I have five younger siblings, and I’m the oldest! Maybe that would surprise some people. Oh, and I can lick my nose with my tongue!

Biggest pet peeve?

A guy who cries all the time. Oh gosh, please no.

Tell me one food you REFUSE to eat!

I don’t refuse most foods! I don’t like weird stuff though, like snails and other exotic things. I’ll definitely pass on that!

Favorite superhero character and why?

My favorite superhero is myself when I’m on stage. I look up to her, and I wish I could always be as confident as her. But what’s crazy is that even though I’m super nervous up on stage, it doesn’t come off that way. It’s weird!

If you could pass a law everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?

Love unconditionally.

Favorite movie star?

To be honest, I don’t really have one!

Favorite movie or TV/Netflix show?

The ones my friends are in, like Noah Centineo and King Bach! I loved To All the Boys I Loved Before and the sequel.

Favorite subject in school?

I loved cheer and dance! I know that doesn’t count, but I won’t change my mind. I loved having those opportunities in school. As for my least favorite, never math.

What else are you working on or have coming up next?

New music! Something completely new. I’m excited to share it, so keep an eye out for the new songs I’ll be dropping soon!

Could we get a selfie of whatever you are doing at the moment? It’s something we ask to keep it real for the fans!
