Born in Southern California, Isabella Moll has had a passion for acting since she was a little girl, but it wasn’t until her early teens that she decided to pursue her dream. She started out modeling and began working as an extra on various projects to help her learn all aspects of the entertainment business. Before long, Isabella had a recurring role on the popular Dhar Mann TV series and will soon be seen in the drama Heart ‘N’ Soul.
A talented make-up artist, Isabella has worked on The Sinister Seymour Show alongside special effects artist Jasper Anderson (Avengers Endgame). This bilingual young teen is passionate about the environment, striving to make the world a better, greener place. When not working, Isabella enjoys all types of dance, especially hip hop, as well as painting and making jewelry.
Hello Isabella, nice to e-meet you! For those unfamiliar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself and your background outside of the world of showbiz.
Hi! Nice to meet you virtually as well. Outside of the Showbiz I keep myself busy in my community and with the things I enjoy doing. Some of my favorite activities are reading, painting and singing. I have been in choir for almost 6 years now. I am also a part of the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) and I am currently working on getting my eagle rank. Other things I enjoy are helping others with leadership, for example IEFLP (Inland Empire Future Leaders Program which is a leadership camp) which I will be applying to staff for my second year in a row, and I love volunteering at my church.
Thanks! You have had a recurring role on the popular Dhar Mann series…what’s been your favorite part about being involved in that project?
My favorite part of that project has been the set environment and the other actors on set. Being on Dhar Mann has shown me how a set environment should be like. When I film there it really feels like family.
Has being on the show opened up any doors in the entertainment world for you?
Not specifically, but it has helped me be more comfortable behind the camera. This was one of my first jobs I booked and therefore has helped me get an inside look at what it’s like to be on set.
What has been your most memorable moment in show biz so far?
One of my most memorable moments was when I was filming for “Heart ‘N’ SOUL”. I didn’t get the full script for the scene I was in. Therefore I had to memorize it in the little time we had before we started the film.
Tell us about Heart N’ SOUL and your role in it.
I am a part of the Girls of Miracles in this film. They are a group of powerful strong women which was very inspiring. Check it out on Amazon prime coming out this year!
Why do you think people are going to want to watch it?
I believe people will want to watch it because it is encouraging and it has some fun romance in it as well.
Tell us about your work as a make-up artist and why you enjoy it.
I first started doing makeup on myself for dance competitions. It then evolved into me practicing on myself and also dabbling in special effects makeup. I really enjoy being able to transform someone into something completely different and seeing the person’s reaction is always great.
Have you experienced bullying? If so, what most helped you cope with that?
I experienced bullying because of things I couldn’t change about myself and for the things that make me who I am. Having my small group of friends by my side helped me cope with the bullying though. A couple of true friends is way better than being friends with a lot of people who will be disingenuous with you. Always remember you can go to an adult you trust if you need help or are in danger. You are never alone. YOU are beautiful and strong and will get through it.
What most inspires you to create as an artist/influencer? (why do you do what you do?)
I am inspired by the hope that I might be able to give some form of escapism for someone by bringing them a moment of joy or inspiration with my acting or posts. Another thing that inspires me to create is motivating others and helping them learn that they can reach for their dreams too.
Best advice you have gotten so far in your career?
Every “No” is one step closer to a “Yes”. This is something every actor has to learn early on and it’s best to look at it in a positive way.
Long-term career goals?
I’d like to continue to do acting. While also taking some part of set design in the film industry.
Biggest pet peeve?
It’s not so much a pet peeve, but I would have to say it is when people are friends with someone and then talk negatively about them behind their back, it’s not right. Remember to be kind, you never know what someone is dealing with on their own.
What’s your favorite item in your room or purse/bag, that you rely on ALL the time?
My favorite item In my room is my ring light, mostly because I use it so frequently for auditions, Tik Tok and videos.
Secret fear?
A secret fear I have is not being good enough for the industry. That is exactly what the industry does too, it either makes you or breaks you but you can’t let silly things get to you.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.
I think people may be surprised that I am in the BSA, which is the Boy Scouts of America. Thanks to BSA I learned how to ride a horse and found my love of camping.
The one thing I cannot live without is:
Books.
Tell me ONE food you REFUSE to eat and why?
I wouldn’t say I refuse to eat this, it’s a choice, but I am actually vegetarian so I don’t eat meat. I haven’t eaten meat in around 5 years.
What else are you working on or have coming up next?
Currently I am working on my YouTube channel while continuing to do auditions for acting.
Selfie Time!
I was doing a self tape audition!
